2000 onwards
Product Enterprise Dalek range
The new Millennium got off to a great start
with Product Enterprise announcing a brand new range of Doctor
Who models. The first of these was an update of the old 1960s “Rolykins” Daleks - an inch-tall Dalek with a ball-bearing mounted
in the base.
The Rolykins were followed by a new
six-inch tall talking Dalek (available iin various colours for a limited
time) and more recently a talking
Davros.
They also produced a large range of “Roll-a-matic” Daleks which in my opinion, are the most accurate
Dalek toys to date. These had a pull-back motor action and were
available in every Dalek colour combination. Sadly I never
managed to get hold of the Evil of
the Daleks pack (which included a
silver Dalek with black dome) or an Imperial Dalek set. However
I did get a rather unusual set that I hadn’t seen before,
which included 2 gold Daleks and a black and gold emperor
Dalek. This set is shown here alongside the Day of the Daleks and Remembrance of the Daleks Renegade sets.
