Character Options
Character Options are the official
merchandise producers for the new series. Whilst I
haven’t bothered with walkie-talkies or playsets or even
their huge talking Dalek, I do have their smaller talking new
design Dalek and Dalek keyring.
Corgi range
More commonly known for making toy cars,
Corgi announced a range of Doctor Who collectibles in 2004.
These included (as shown) a TARDIS (complete with Tom Baker
peering out of the door), Fourth Doctor, K9, Davros and a
Cyberman. However most impressive were the range of limited
edition metal Daleks - shown here in most of the colours that
were available.
Following the show’s comeback in
2005, Corgi also made two mini keyrings of a Dalek and TARDIS,
presented in classy cases.
