1990s toys
Sevans Models
Although the Sevans range of self-assembly
model kits originally emerged in 1984, the two shown here are
from 1991.
I did have one of the original 1984 Daleks,
but it came to a rather unpleasant end. The original models
were nigh-on impossible to assemble and took the average model
maker several days or even weeks to put together. The 1990s
models were simplified and made easier to assemble. The two
shown here are the standard Dalek painted in Genesis of the Daleks
colours to accompany the Michael Wisher (Genesis) Davros.
Dapol Marx Dalek replicas (below left)
In the 1990s Dapol got hold of the original
moulds used in the 1960s – by Marx who made the first
ever Dalek toys, – to produce a range of exact replicas.
